Rishabh Pant accident video: Rishabh Pant Mercedes car accident today; admitted to Max Hospital Dehradun
India wicket-keeper batter Rishabh Pant is “stable” and “out of danger” after being the sole occupant in a single-vehicle car crash at the Delhi-Dehradun Expressway in the wee hours of the day today.
Pant, 25, admitted to the police that he had dozed off while driving which led to him crashing the vehicle into a divider in Mohammedpur Jat, exact accident spot which falls between Manglaur and Narsan in Uttarakhand.
Pant, who was recently seen holidaying in Dubai, was travelling from New Delhi to Roorkee to meet his family members ahead of the New Years eve.
The swashbuckling batter was both aware and brave enough to smash the windscreen of his Mercedes car in order to get out when it had caught fire after the accident.
Pant, who is said to be helped by local citizens and police regarding getting him to a local hospital, was subsequently shifted to Max Hospital, Dehradun, after receiving initial treatment. Fortunately, Pant has survived any threatening injuries but still has multiple injuries on his forehead, knee and back.
“Cricketer Rishabh Pant is under the observation of Orthopedics & plastic surgeons. His condition is stable. His detailed medical bulletin will be released once he’s examined. Thereafter, we’ll take the next steps,” Dr. Ashish Yagnik, of Max Hospital, said in an official statement.
It is expected a detailed report on Pant’s injuries will be shared officially in the near future. Till then, readers are advised to not believe any kind of reports around the extent of injuries or any possible time frame for an optimum recovery.

Pant, who played the last of his 129 international matches across formats in Bangladesh last week, isn’t part of India’s white-ball squads for the upcoming home series against Sri Lanka. The swashbuckling batter was slated to travel to the NCA (National Cricket Academy) for strength and conditioning purpose ahead of a four-match Test series against Australia in February-March.
