Rishabh Pant car: Was Pant driving BMW car during accident while travelling from New Delhi to Roorkee?
Indian wicket-keeper Rishabh Pant suffered many injuries after meeting with a serious car accident while driving from New Delhi to his hometown Roorkee. Pant is said to be out of danger and is currently admitted to a hospital in Dehradun.
After the news broke out, Pant has been getting a lot of wishes from all around social media which includes names like Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Mohammed Shami, etc. Pant has suffered various injuries on his foot, back and head. It is tough to say about the recovery time for the wicketkeeper.
India will play four tests against Australia in February next year, and it is looking unlikely that Pant will be available for that series. He was set to go to NCA for his knee strengthening after being rested from the white-ball series against Sri Lanka.

Rishabh Pant’s car was completely damaged after the incident, and there are a lot of reports going around social media that he was driving a BMW car. However, contrary to all the reports on social media, it looks like a Mercedes car as the logo of the company is visible on the tyre of the damaged car.
According to DNA, it was a Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe that Pant was driving today. There are a lot of photos on social media as well of when Rishabh bought this car. This car comes with a powerful 2.0 L petrol engine or a 2.2 L diesel engine.
Rishabh was travelling from Delhi to his hometown Roorkee, which is a drive of around 3 hours (188 km approx). It is said that Rishabh was driving the car on his own only.
“At around 5.30 am we received info that cricketer Rishabh Pant’s car met with an accident. He was rushed to Saksham Hospital in Roorkee & was later shifted to Dehradun. He was driving the car & was alone,” SK Singh, SP Rural, Haridwar said as quoted by ANI.
Mercedes cars have been involved in some infamous accidents recently. Recently, famous businessman Cyrus Mistry passed away in a car accident involving a Mercedes-Benz car. Even Haryana’s home and health minister Anil Vij survived a car crash recently, and he was also in a Mercedes.
