“I’d Bust Charles Barkley’s A**”: Dwight Howard Claims He’d Beat 1993 MVP One-on-One
At their peaks, both Charles Barkley and Dwight Howard were two of the most dominant players in the game of basketball.
Both were a few inches shorter for the position they played throughout their careers, but neither 6ft 6’, power forward Barkley nor 6ft 10’ center Howard had doubts in their minds when they were going for a rebound against taller players.
Their skill and self-belief assured the success they were going to have in their respective careers and Howard for one is still high on it.

Dwight Howard claims he’ll bust Charles Barkley’s a#s 1v1
Although basketball is a team game, a one-on-one game always makes it in discussions when we compare players, irrespective of their size or position they play.
In that context, the 3x DPOY answered a question in a podcast where the hosts asked him whether he’d be able to defeat Charles Barkley in a 1v1.
Boasting the self-confidence he still has in his craft the former NBA champ with the Lakers said he would “bust” Barkley’s “a*s” without any hesitance.
How accurate are Dwight’s beliefs?
As great as the 1993 MVP was, even in his prime he wouldn’t be effective in a 1v1 against the 2x blocks leader who also has a 4-inch advantage over Barkley.
A prime Howard was not even slow against the superstar guards of the league at the time. As much as it would hurt old-school hoop lovers, a prime Chuck would not be able to stop Howard from scoring.
So, as he says, it should be an easy one for Dwight.
Casuals legitimately wonder if Dwight Howard is a Hall of Famer 🤣🤦🏽♂️ One of the greatest to ever do it and he was EATING two years ago. pic.twitter.com/dUgtgAMDbT
