“Corny, Nobody Ran Up On Me Either”: Jordan Clarkson Demands JJ Redick To Pay Him After Desmond Bane Scoffs At Him Squaring Up
Jordan Clarkson has become a meme of sorts online after yet another instance where he got into a scuffle with opposing players and immediately got into a fighting stance. Bleacher Report even poked fun at the Utah Jazz 6th man after he squared up against Desmond Bane and the Grizzlies during their most recent game.
He’s done this prior as well, dating all the way back to his days as a Los Angeles Laker. The Grizzlies are a team that can match this energy perfectly as well. The entirety of their roster is made up of young and hungry talent looking to cement their place within the league.
So, when Desmond Bane went on JJ Redick’s ‘Old Man and the Three’ podcast, he opened up about the Clarkson situation. He would go on to say, “I think he’s not really the fighter type. I think he’s like 0-4 so far. Four square-ups. No punches thrown.”

Jordan Clarkson responds to Desmond Bane
Jordan Clarkson took these comments by the sharpshooting Grizzlies guard quite personally as he would go on to comment under Bleacher Report’s post about the same.
“Corny cuh with a mic, crazy cuz ain’t nobody ran up either. JJ Redick, cut me a check for bringing some ratings to ya podcast or pay me to get on,” said JC. These two comments would get deleted by him however.
He would even reply to a comment defending him, saying, “Kids just be on the internet too much watching they favorite rappers.”

The internet is torn between both ideologies but there is a surprising amount of support for Clarkson in this debate.
Jordan Clarkson gets fined during the Memphis game
After fouling Desmond Bane during that game and squaring up with the whole team, he was subsequently kicked out of the game by the referees.
This ejection would cost him a pretty penny as he would get fined $2,000 for the altercation. Though, with him earning $13.3 million this season, this wouldn’t make all too much of a dent in his bank account.
