India-Pakistan Asia Cup fixture’s date announced
Team India will play their most-anticipated game against Pakistan on 19th of September, following their opening clash on 18th of September against the qualifier team which is yet to be confirmed.
ICC released the Asia Cup 2018 schedule on Tuesday with the Men in Blue playing two consecutive matches in two days.
The 6-team tournament will take place from 15th to 28th of September in UAE, with Bangladesh and Sri Lanka playing the opening clash on 15th.

India, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka are the confirmed teams, while the remaining spot set to be occupied by any of Singapore, Oman, Nepal, UAE, Malaysia and Hong Kong.
Group A will comprise of arch-rivals India and Pakistan, while the qualifier team will complete the group. On the other hand, Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka form part of Group B.
The top two teams from both groups will progress to the Super 4 stage, before the top two teams from the Super 4 stage meet each other in the final on 28th of September in Dubai.

15th September – Bangladesh vs Sri Lanka (DUBAI)
16th September – Pakistan vs Qualifier (DUBAI)
17th September – Sri Lanka vs Afghanistan (ABU DHABI)
18th September – India vs Qualifier (DUBAI)
19th September – India vs Pakistan (DUBAI)
20th September – Bangladesh vs Afghanistan (ABU DHABI)
Super 4:
21st September – Group A winner vs Group B runner-up (DUBAI)
21st September – Group B winner vs Group A runner-up (ABU DHABI)
23rd September – Group A winner vs Group A runner-up (DUBAI)
23rd September – Group B winner vs Group B runner-up (ABU DHABI)
25th September – Group A winner vs Group B winner (DUBAI)
26th September – Group A runner-up vs Group B runner-up (ABU DHABI)
Final:
28th September – Asia Cup 2018 Final (DUBAI)
