RR vs LSG Head to Head Record in IPL History
Set to be joined by Punjab Kings next month, Rajasthan Royals will become the first team to play its home matches on their second home ground in the ongoing 16th season of the Indian Premier League. Having already played in Guwahati twice, RR will now be playing their remaining five home games in Jaipur.
The first of these five matches will be played against Lucknow Super Giants tomorrow. Only the third clash between these two teams, it will see LSG yearning to beat Rajasthan for the first time. Readers must note that both matches between these two sides last season were won by Royals. It was at the Brabourne Stadium where RR had defeated LSG by 24 runs in their last encounter against one another.
As it should be, Royals have had a tremendous record at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium over the years. Having won 37 and lost 15 out of their 52 matches here, the hosts would be looking to win their first match in the city in the last four years.
A stadium not known for high-scoring encounters, Rajasthan have an average run rate of 8.07 here. Super Giants, on the other hand, will be playing their first-ever match in the “Pink City” on Wednesday.
