Having not played a single ODI in Pakistan for over 19 years, New Zealand will have played eight of them in around four months by the end of an imminent five-match series starting with the first ODI in Rawalpindi tomorrow.

If truth be told, it is rare for any international team to tour a specific country twice within four months. However, with ICC Cricket World Cup to be played in India later in the year, the Black Caps wouldn’t mind gaining as much experience as possible of the Asian conditions.

While all the day-night matches will be televised on Sony Sports 5, Sony LIV will live stream them with a paid subscription. Indian fans must note that only English commentary will be available for this series.

Pakistani fans back home will be able to watch this series on tried and tested networks such as PTV Sports and ARY ZAP. For the unversed, ARY ZAP is a streaming platform unlike the former which is a television channel.

Sky Sport NZ will be televising the series in New Zealand. It is noteworthy that all the matches will begin at quite an odd timing of 10:30 PM for fans in New Zealand.
