“Sauce” Gardner Says Aaron Rodgers Picked On Him for the Entire Knicks Game, All Because He Did Not Know Who Jessica Alba Was

Aaron Rodgers likes to have fun. Over the years, Rodgers has played a number of pranks and jokes on teammates and has been the victim of such jokes as well. Including the time when former teammate David Bakhtiari gifted Rodgers an “Aston Martin Vanquish”. Now, even though Rodgers has barely been in New York for a month, he is already having fun, albeit at his teammate Ahmad Gardner’s expense.

Rodgers and Garnder were recently spotted at Madison Square, where the New York Knicks took on the Miami Heat during their playoff series game. While they enjoyed the Knicks beating their opponents by a thin margin, it seems Rodgers had his own fun moments by picking on Gardner during the game. All because Gardner did not know who Jessica Alba was!

During an interview, “Sauce” Gardner told reporters what really happened during the Knicks game. “We were getting seated and he was like ‘We’re about to sit by,’ What’s her name? ‘We’re about to sit by Jessica Alba,’ and I’m just like ‘Oh, I don’t know who that is.’ And he just looked at me, he looked at me like I’m crazy,” he said.

Gardner continued, “It was just great to be able to sit over there, and I got to meet her. And one of her friends, who was from Detroit, actually. It was great vibes, but that whole night he would just keep asking me out of nowhere. Like, ‘Do you know who that person is? I’m like ‘Bro, that’s Amar’e Stoudemire, I know who that is. Now you’re just picking on me.’”

Aaron Rodgers is definitely having the time of his life in New York, and not just with regard to all the glitz and glamour. Even when it comes to the team and playing in Nathaniel Hackett’s offense. It will no doubt be an easy transition for Rodgers, who is very familiar with Hackett’s playstyle since the duo was together in Green Bay for quite a while.

Perhaps the biggest change for Rodgers‘ fans, would be to see him not wear his iconic #12 jersey. Instead, he will be sporting the #8, which he wore during his UC Berkeley days. With a young team and a familiar coach, Rodgers looks set to lead this team to the playoffs. He has the experience, and he would want to end his final few years in the NFL on a positive note. The question is, can the Jets keep up?
