F1 Fans Joke Haas Boss Guenther Steiner Has Begun Calculating Damage of Nico Hulkenberg’s Car After Crash in FP1
Haas’ first home Grand Prix of the 2023 season in Miami has gotten off to a disastrous start as Nico Hulkenberg crashed in the first practice session. Soon after he hit the wall at turn three, fans shared hilarious memes about Haas team principal Guenther Steiner along with the team’s former driver, Mick Schumacher.
A fan account of Schumacher joked that Steiner would have perhaps already begun calculating the cost of damage to notify the public about the same.

Nico Hulkenberg crashes in his first outing in Miami
Since Nico Hulkenberg was not a part of the grid last year, this year is his first outing in Miami and it is fair to say that it has not begun in the fashion he would have liked. Even though the 35-year-old did not make the biggest of mistakes, he yet crashed into the wall of turn three.
Hulkenberg’s mistake is just evidence of the fact of the perfection that these drivers need to have each time they get out on the track. One tiny mistake and they could end up crashing the wall, thereby causing big costs in damages to the team.
Guenther Steiner has often provided a damning assessment of Schumacher
In several of his interviews and also in his book, Guenther Steiner has left no stone unturned in slamming Mick Schumacher for all the damages he caused to Haas. In his book, the 58-year-old explained how Schumacher’s repetitive crashes put him in a difficult situation with the board.
Narrating the question he would often get asked by the board, Steiner explained, “He crashed again Guenther. What’s the point of having a good car when you don’t score any points and keep wrecking them”?
The Italian-American’s criticism of Schumacher was far from over as he explained how the 24-year-old would never take any blame despite him being at fault. “If you f*** up, admit that you f***** up, apologize and then try and improve. That’s what he needs to do. Although I’d prefer if he just stopped,” explained the Haas team principal.
