Max Verstappen and Kelly Piquet’s relationship has always been heavily under the spotlight. They are one of F1’s most popular power couples with fans keeping a close eye on Piquet, and their relationship off the track. Recent pictures of Piquet’s glamourous appearance at the Cannes Film Festival have now sent F1 fans into a frenzy.

The Cannes Film Festival, which is held annually, features some of the biggest celebrities in the world, who wear the most fashionable clothes and turn up to the gala. Verstappen’s girlfriend Piquet too, made an appearance last year, wearing a sparkly silver dress, that left fans heart-eyed.

However, it seems as though Piquet posted a picture of herself at the gala last year. This is because the Brazilian wore this same dress a year ago when she attended the Cannes Film Festival. In fact, there were fans in the comment section who recognized the outfit and commented on the same.

Verstappen himself definitely loved the outfit, even if the picture is a year old. The two-time F1 world champion liked Piquet’s post within 30 minutes of it being posted. Stoffel Vandoorne, who is Fernando Alonso’s former teammate, also liked the post instantly.

Piquet was in a relationship with former Red Bull driver Daniil Kvyat until 2019, and they even have a daughter together, named Penelope. After splitting up, Piquet became the one spending more time with their daughter and when she began dating Verstappen in 2021, they three of them moved in together.

Verstappen and Piquet share a good relationship that the fans adore, but what’s even more awe inspiring is the Red Bull driver’s friendship with little Penelope. The three of them stay at Verstappen’s apartment in Monaco mainly, and Verstappen spends a lot of time streaming his sim races for fans.
