Royal Challengers Bangalore star batter Virat Kohli, and Lucknow Super Giants team owner Sanjeev Goenka have had a professional relationship with each other since the year 2017. Since the previous year, the two have been in rival camps in the Indian Premier League.
The mutual respect which the two have for each other was witnessed at the Ekana Cricket Stadium, during LSG versus RCB match in the ongoing 16th edition of the coveted league.
Even after Kohli was involved in an extended session of heated arguments with LSG players and their team mentor Gautam Gambhir post the match, the former made sure to greet Goenka warmly and with a composed demeanor.

It was in November 2017, when Kohli and Goenka had grabbed headlines by launching the inaugural edition of the Indian Sports Honours.
Goenka’s RPSG group had, in association with the Virat Kohli Foundation decided to honour the invaluable contributions of outstanding sports personalities from India. A couple of months ago, Kohli, alongside wife-actor Anushka Sharma had graced the event with their presence in its fourth edition.
Moreover, Guiltfree Industries Limited, the FMCG division of the RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group had also roped in Kohli as their brand ambassador for its packaged snacking brand, Too Yumm in December 2017.
The Too Yumm snacks recently launched its new product named Karare, and Kohli was actively involved in the item’s promotional campaign in January this year.
About ‘Too Yumm’
The health snacks brand had initially roped in Kohli as their health ambassador for a period of mere two years.
