Saha IPL 2020: Twitter reactions on David Warner and Wriddhiman Saha guiding SRH to IPL 2020 playoffs

David Warner and Wriddhiman Saha: The opening pair for Sunrisers Hyderabad put on display a mind-blowing opening partnership.

During the 56th match of the ongoing 13th season of the Indian Premier League between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians in Sharjah, Sunrisers Hyderabad beat Mumbai Indians by 10 wickets to enter the playoffs on the back of their seventh victory this season.

Chasing a mediocre 150-run target, Sunrisers thrived on the back of opening batsmen in captain David Warner and wicket-keeper batsman Wriddhiman Saha putting together an unbeaten 151-run partnership to seal the chase.

Playing against an Indians-attack without the likes of Trent Boult and Jasprit Bumrah, Hyderabad made it a point to cash in on the opportunity especially in the second innings.

Saha, whose addition has turned things round for Sunrisers in the last three matches, was among the runs at a strike rate similar to that of his captain. Having won the match with 17 balls remaining, it ended up as the kind of victory which Sunrisers needed at this point in time.

In what was his 48th IPL half-century, Warner ended up scoring an awe-inspiring 85* (58) with the help of 10 fours and a six to also become the second-highest run-scorer this season.

Saha, on the other hand, registered his eighth IPL half-century with his 58* (45) comprising of seven fours and a six.
