Weather In Hambantota On June 4: Chances Of Rain For SL vs AFG 2nd ODI At Mahinda Rajapaksa International Cricket Stadium
A single glimpse of the second of the ongoing three-match ODI series between Sri Lanka and Afghanistan is enough to observe the impending prospect of rain at the Mahinda Rajapaksa International Cricket Stadium. Unlike the first ODI played here on Friday, rain could play spoilsport on a Sunday afternoon.
Coming on the back of a 6-wicket loss in the last match, Sri Lanka captain Dasun Shanaka won the toss and chose to bat. Considering how they weren’t able to defend a 269-run target on the day before yesterday, the hosts would be keen to touch the 300-run mark today.
An assuring 82-run opening stand between Pathum Nissanka (43) and Dimuth Karunaratne (52) has sure provided Sri Lanka with a solid start but they will now have to recover from the fall of two quick wickets.

Hence, there’s not much to worry about with respect to match getting abandoned due to rain. Even if it rains for a bit, expect players to return to action after a brief stoppage.
