“Consider Sacking the Whole F1 Division”: Charles Leclerc & Carlos Sainz Roasted for Finally Celebrating a Ferrari Win – Just Not Theirs
Formula 1 fans have mocked star Ferrari F1 drivers Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz for recently celebrating a win that was not theirs. The Monegasque and the Spaniard took to social media on June 8 and put up videos to celebrate Ferrari Hypercar’s fantastic 1-2 lockout in the Le Mans event.
Ferrari F1 fans are unhappy as Leclerc and Sainz seem way off the pace to accomplish similar results in their sport. Barring a podium for Leclerc at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix this year, none of the two Ferrari drivers have even finished in the top three in any of the other six races.
In the midst of such disappointment in their F1 success, fans found it strange that Leclerc and Sainz were celebrating their first success this year that was not even theirs. As for Ferrari, they would hope to win their tenth race in the 24 Hours of Le Mans this weekend and their first in Hypercar.
F1 fans react as Leclerc and Sainz celebrate Le Mans success
Some F1 fans such as Vish seemed furious after seeing Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz celebrate the Le Mans success. They believe that the Prancing Horse should sack the whole F1 team if the Le Mans team can win the race in their debut year in Hypercar.
If Ferrari Win Lemans in their debut year in hyper car, they should seriously consider sacking the whole f1 division and rebuild from scratch https://t.co/9Sz684DoOV

Meanwhile, some other fans such as Jarrod joked that Ferrari are perhaps not performing well in F1 as there is a possibility that “they’ve put all the focus into LeMans“.
Now we know why their not performing well in F1, they’ve put all the focus into LeMans 🤣

And then there were some other fans who found it hilarious that Leclerc finally got the opportunity to celebrate success with Ferrari. However, they made it a point to make it clear that the Monegasque was not celebrating his own success.

Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz’s disappointing season continues
Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz have had a disastrous start to the 2023 season as both drivers have struggled to fight for the podium in each of the seven races so far. Both drivers have struggled this season as Ferrari has failed to produce a car that is capable of fighting for wins and podiums.
Since Leclerc and Sainz had a disastrous race in Spain this past weekend with an eleventh and fifth-place finish respectively, both expressed their frustrations after. The Monegasque told Sky Sports F1, “We have to understand and work but it’s been a few races now where we are struggling with the conditions or having a really peaky car and today is no better“.
On similar lines, Sainz said that the Spanish GP exposed Ferrari’s weaknesses. He believes that the car really struggles in the high-speed corners, and was upset to see the pace differential Ferrari had against the likes of Mercedes.
If Ferrari are to produce a comeback, it will take a monumental effort from them as they have been way off the pace. Leclerc and Sainz will now hope that they can produce at least a better performance in next weekend’s race in Montreal.
