Sophia Floersch releases long statement on Instagram post her surgery
Sophia Floersch has undergone a successful 11 hour long surgery, one which treated her broken vertebra and dealt with the bone splinter quite close to her spinal cord.
Updates had started coming in from last night about Sophia’s operation and how everything had gone well.
She is now recuperating from the operation and will be in Macau for sometime before she is able to travel.
In her long Instagram message, Sophia thanked her fans and the entire motorsport fraternity for their love and support in this anxious time for her and her family.
She went onto thank her doctor for the surgery and then cheekily thanked the Dallara Group for having built such a stable chassis, one that helped her survive the horrible accident.
Sophia has a long road to recovery ahead of her but with the right kind of support from the medical staff, her family and her fans, we could see her get back into that racing car very soon.
But until then, we can hope and pray that her rehabilitation process goes according to plan and that she can get back to the best of her health soon enough.
Stay strong, Sophia.
