Rio 2016: Twitter reacts as PV Sindhu reaches Quarter Finals
Early morning on Tuesday, India finally had some good news when PV Sindhu, seeded no 9 at Rio won against no 8 seed Tai Tzu-Ying of Chinese Taipei. After Saina crashed out of the games a day ago, the only major hope for a medal was now pinned on Sindhu.
Sindhu will now face world no 2 Wang Yihan on 17 Aug 03:25 AM IST. It will be a tough match for Sindhu, but the way she is currently playing, we surely can expect a nail biting contest and probably for her to enter the semi-finals.
Not to forget Srikanth Kadambi who also went into quarter finals along with Sindhu. Kadambi will play Jan Jorgenson of Denmark who is ranked no 5 in the world.
After Sindhu won the pre-quarters, twitter was in full flow and we capture some of the reactions.
PV Sindhu was not only more skilled but also had the better strategy.. Media should stop pinning medal hopes and let her play freely..

Almost all of India's *inspirational* athletes in the last few years are women: Mary Kom, Saina, Sindhu, Sania, Dipa, Phogat sisters, etc
