Man Utd team news vs Arsenal: Ole Gunnar Solskjaer provided a big update on the injury list, including Anthony Martial.

Manchester United are high on spirits after a dramatic victory over Paris Saint Germain in the Champions League.

Marcus Rashford scored the winner for the side with a well-taken penalty in the injury time to secure a spot in the quarterfinal of the Champions League.

The Old Trafford outfit now returns to the Premier League as they take on Arsenal in a heavyweight clash. The game is significant in the top-4 race as only a point separates both the sides at fourth and fifth place respectively.

Arsenal received a huge shock last night as the side suffered a 3-1 defeat to Stade Rennes in the Europa League round-of-16 clash. Their league form has been shaky as well, which puts Manchester United in pole position to secure three points.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer interacted with the media for the pre-match conference, where he provided an update on the injuries.

Man Utd team news vs Arsenal:

Both the sides played a 2-2 draw in their first meeting, but a similar result on Sunday could hamper their chances for a top-4 finish.

Chelsea have a game in hand and stand only two points behind the fourth-placed Manchester United. Solskjaer’s men have a game remaining against the Chelsea and have an advantage over Arsenal, but they would aim to be in a strong position when they host Sarri’s side at Old Trafford.

The Norwegian caretaker manager, meanwhile, provided an update on Manchester United’s injury list. Over 10 first-team stars missed the game against PSG with injuries and suspension.

“Eric [Bailly] is fine. Anthony will be available and hopefully we’ll have Nemanja and/or Ander ready as well,” Solskjaer said.

“.. So looking better for it they just need to have another couple of days training with the team, they’ve done their recovery work.”

He stated that the side is upbeat after the win against PSG and will look to replicate the result against Arsenal.

“No problem whatsoever we’ve gone through to the quarterfinals, which is what we sometimes expect at Manchester United.

“It was the way that it happened, the celebrations at the end, just happens when you win a game at the end like we did. Arsenal fantastic game to get ready for again.”

What next?

Solskjaer’s side is only three points behind Tottenham Hotspur who are 3rd in the table and will aim to create significant pressure on Pochettino’s side when they face Arsenal.
