IPL 2024 auction is just about to start with Indian viewers able to follow it back home across two different platforms. With the television rights being with Star Sports Network, the auction will be live across different channels owned by the media giant. That said, the digital rights are with Viacom18 who will be live streaming all the action for absolutely free on Jio Cinema’s website and mobile application.

Royal Challengers Bangalore, represented by former director of Cricket Mike Hesson, grabbed Australian pacer Mitchell Starc for an opulent INR 18.50 crore – most expensive player in the mock auction. However, it appears unreal with regard to the original auction.

During the mock auction, Raina believed Josh Hazlewood should return to Chennai Super Kings as it will be like a homecoming for him. Hesson, meanwhile, questioned Raina’s call due to Hazlewood’s availability in the first half of the season.
