Patrice Evra tweet on Man Utd: Evra posts strong message for United fans
Patrice Evra tweet on Man Utd: The former Manchester United defender tweeted after the club announced the departure of Jose Mourinho.
Manchester United announced earlier today that they’ve parted ways with Jose Mourinho. The Portuguese manager left the club in his third-season in-charge.
During his time at Manchester United, Mourinho led the club to their first ever Europa League title, as well as the EFL Cup in 2016/17 season. United finished second in 2017/18, but it all went downhill since.
Manchester United endured a dire transfer window and made a poor start to the campaign, and the dressing room fallouts between the players and manager marred the season further.
As Manchester United announced the departure of Jose Mourinho, Paul Pogba posted a controversial tweet. Even when the tweet was deleted within minutes, fans pounced on the midfielder for his unethical behavior.
Evra tweets on Man Utd:
Manchester United’s former defender and star footballer Patrice Evra has now spoken for the first time since the departure of Jose Mourinho. He stated that the fans should not be focussing on individual mistakes, but come together in this time.
“The thing that is annoying me the most right now is why are people so focused on @paulpogba and Jose Mourinho,” Evra wrote.
“Let’s focus on rebuilding something solid instead of being in a playground. Doing this is only disrespecting the badge, from now we only need positivity.”

The relationship between Paul Pogba and Jose Mourinho deteriorated during Mourinho’s third season at the club, and Pogba even criticised Mourinho’s tactics during a mixed-zone interview.
The situation became worse after the duo was caught arguing during a training session.
