Casemiro goal vs Sevilla: Real Madrid star scores a screamer in win over Sevilla
Casemiro goal vs Sevilla: Real Madrid returned to winning ways in the La Liga as they defeated Sevilla 2-0.
Real Madrid returned to winning ways in the league as the side registered a 2-0 win over Sevilla. With this victory, Real Madrid have climbed to 3rd position in the league table.
The league season has been fairly difficult for Real Madrid this year, with their title challenge already in doubt with six losses so far. Real Madrid are five points behind city rivals Atletico Madrid and seven behind Barca. (who have a game in hand)
The disharmony among the fans was visible with empty seats at Santiago Bernabeu in the game last night, and while their game against Sevilla had taken monotonous dimensions, Casemiro’s brilliant strike secured three points for the home side.
Santiago Solari’s side dominated the possession but a lack of creativity in the final-third was compensated by a moment of brilliance from the Brazilian defensive midfielder.
