Bonnie Paine’s funny Instagram story: Australian captain’s wife didn’t shy away from taking a dig at ICC’s recent post.

Bonnie Paine, wife of Australia Test captain Tim Paine, has been in the news from the time her husband offered India wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant a babysitting gig during the third Test of India’s tour of Australia at Melbourne.

While the 21-year old Indian cricketer gave back to Paine in style in the same match, he was seen getting clicked with Paine’s wife and kids during both the team’s meeting with Australia Prime Minister at Kirribilli House. Given what had happened on the ground a few days ago, the photo trended across social media platforms for the next few days.

In an interview after the meeting, Paine admitted that it was lovely meeting Bonnie Paine and her kids recently. Since then, something or the other makes the Paine family and Pant do the rounds across social media platforms.

It started with Bonnie posting Instagram stories regarding the same. Given her sense of humour, her posts are generally accepted well by the audiences. When one of her follower pointed out her increased fan following on Instagram, she was quick to admit that most of them were Pant fans.

Around a week later, her attempt of unpacking with a needy baby made ask her ask if Pant was available for a babysitting gig.

Most recently, Pant was declared the ICC Men’s Emerging Cricketer of the Year 2018 during ICC Awards 2018. The youngster had broken several batting and wicket-keeping records during the Test series against Australia.

ICC (International Cricket Council) took to their social media handles to post sketch of Pant and Paine’s family. “Champion babysitter and champion cricketer,” read the caption of the post.

Bonnie shared the photo as her Instagram story with a funny caption. “Haha DYING over this sketch. But I do wish my bust was that big,” read her caption.
