McLaren confirm livery colour for 2019 season
McLaren will be going into the 2019 F1 season with a changed scenery around themselves, especially with their driver line up.
Both Alonso and Vandoorne won’t be in the McLaren garage next season. Sainz and Norris will be taking their place and the team would be hoping that they can help McLaren take that leap of faith into the ‘elite little group of F1’.
McLaren struggled with the Renault engine last season, despite hoping that the switch from Honda to Renault would help them massively, as their livery was one of the best in the business.
Those McLaren ‘livery’ claims though did not stand the test of time, as McLaren suffered another season full of reliability and performance issues.
Now, while one can’t really predict how McLaren’s 2019 season would pan out, one thing can be safely predicted is that McLaren are set to continue with their ‘papaya livery’.
At least that is what their new twitter post suggests, one where they have tried to tease their fans about the MCL34.

McLaren are set to reveal their new car on the 14th of February, days before the all important winter test in Barcelona.
While the livery is now all but confirmed to be ‘papaya’ again, McLaren will be hoping that this season the car performs the way they expect it to. ‘Best of the rest’ could be a realistic target for the team, especially considering that theyb have two new drivers on board.
How do you think McLaren will perform this season?
