Sebastian Vettel hilariously reacts to saying Sauber instead of Alfa Romeo
Sebastian Vettel was involved in a crash in testing yesterday, when on turn 3 he ran straight into the barrier, ending his run on Day 2 of the 2nd test in Barcelona.
While the crash did look like a big one, considering the kind of impact Vettel’s car had to encounter; Vettel came out unscathed.
He was taken to the medical centre for a check up, and was later cleared to give press interviews.
From our man at the track @ScottAutosport: “After that crash a little while ago, we shouldn’t expect to see the Ferrari again for some time. That means Vettel’s day is over, and Leclerc may only appear late in the afternoon.”

During those interviews, Vettel had a slightly embarrassing moment while talking about the pace of the Alfa Romeo.
He was mentioning how Kimi would be enjoying his time there, but there was a grave error that he committed while saying so.
He was constantly referring to Alfa Romeo as Sauber, but realised his mistake quickly, sporting a sheepish smile on the ‘realisation’.

Alfa Romeo have looked really strong in testing, largely due to their revolutionary front wing. It seems as if Alfa Romeo could challenge for a few podium finishes this season.
Ferrari have been setting the pace in testing, looking extremely strong in straight line pace and otherwise too.
Mercedes have had their struggles but are (in)famous for sandbagging during testing. It seems as if the real picture would be revealed in Melbourne only.
