Harbhajan Singh opens up on bowling to Virat Kohli
Harbhajan Singh opens up on bowling to Virat Kohli: The veteran Indian off-spinner disclosed his plans against the Indian captain.
There is no hiding from India captain Virat Kohli and his intimacy with records. Making the optimum use of latter’s tendency to turn its back on others, Kohli usually scales one feat or the other most times when he comes to bat these days.
Going by sheer numbers and not comparisons, it wouldn’t be wrong to say that the time is not far away when Kohli will surpass some of the absolute greats of the game.
Citing the contemporary bowlers’ inability to dismiss Kohli time and again, legendary Australia spinner Shane Warne recently put forward ploys regarding how he would have bowled to Kohli had be been playing.

In a recent interview with Sportstar, veteran India off-spinner believed that Kohli has hit the purple patch. “Looking at his (Virat’s) form, from the last four-to-five years, he has hit that purple patch and he is definitely one of those toughest batsmen that you will come across as a bowler,” Harbhajan was quoted as saying.
Being asked to reveal his strategy regarding how he would bowl to Kohli, Harbhajan initially ruled out any ‘weak point’ in the Indian captain’s batting. However, he also made public his plans against the 30-year old cricketer.
“Every batsman has a weak point where to bowl at and, at the moment, we don’t see that with Virat Kohli. Every ball you bowl to him, he has got an answer for that. But if I have to bowl to him, I’ll have to look for one thing to get him out somehow and to make sure bowl the best against him,” Harbhajan said.
