Matthijs de Ligt : Ajax Coach wants De Ligt to Consider Liverpool amidst European Giants | Liverpool News

Ajax coach Ronald De Boar says that his club captain Matthijs De Ligt should consider joining Liverpool in the summer transfer window.

Matthijs De Ligt, who is having a breakthrough season in Ajax is linked with several top clubs, which has left clubs like Barcelona, Manchester United and Juventus to battle for the 19-year-old defender.

Therefore, it is certain that the Ajax captain will leave the club this summer transfer window, which led Ronald De Boar to name Liverpool as the next club where De Ligt should consider moving.

“For me, Barcelona, Man City, Liverpool . Liverpool wants the ball, Paris Saint-Germain. Those are teams I would give him advice to go there. All the other teams, including Tottenham, are great teams to play for.” Said Frank De Boar according to Talksport.

This season, De Ligt has grabbed the attention of several top clubs by showcasing exceptional performances for the Dutch club. He was vital in Ajax entry into the semi-finals of the UEFA champions league this season by scoring the winner against Juventus in the last round.

Hence, the dutch international is deemed to be the next big thing and has already gained a potential price tag of above100 million pounds in this inflated market.

Van Dijk and De Ligt  : The Dutch Wall for Liverpool ?

Surely, De Ligt’s inclusion in Jurgen Klopp’s side will bolster Liverpool with inform Van Dijk playing alongside him, the dutch central defence pair will be a force to look ahead as they have already performed excellent for the national team together.

Whereas, De Ligt’s game style suits with Barcelona and not to forget his current teammate Frank De Jong has already signed an agreement with the Blaugrana club.

Thus, Liverpool have to pursue De Ligt with their full force and need to break their bank in order to gain the services of the Dutch international as he has ample amount of choices to look out for this summer but his inclusion will would solve Liverpool’s defensive concerns for a long period of time
