Lionel Messi's scintillating run to set up Luis Suarez for the second goal is world-class

Lionel Messi’s run and Luis Suarez’s finish was a sight to behold.

Barcelona aimed for all three points against Inter Milan at Camp Nou. The Blaugrana won the game 2-1, thanks to Luis Suarez’s brace to cancel out early Lautaro Martinez’s strike.

The visitors started the game on a higher ante and stuck first through their Argentinian striker. Gerard Pique was caught out of position – thereby helping Martinez to make a run behind and slot the ball past Marc-Andre Ter Stegen. The Nerazzurri had a couple of chances to extend the lead, but their failure to convert them bite them in the second half.

Luis Suarez scored a world-class goal by striking the ball firmly from outside the penalty box to equalize the score. During some part of the second half, the Italian side had chances, but they still failed to get the much-needed goal.

In the 84th minute, Lionel Messi carried the ball from the defensive department to set up Luis Suarez in style. The Argentinian dragged four to five players to his side nearly the penalty box before feeding it to Luis Suarez. Barcelona’s number 9 still had a lot to do, but first world-class first touch enabled him to score past Samir Handanovic.

It was scintillating from both Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi.

The Spanish giants were held by Borussia Dortmund in the opening game of the Champions League this season. However, they have bounced back in style to beat Inter Milan. This is a group of death – consisting of three top sides and it would be interesting to see which team fails to qualify for knockouts.

Borussia Dortmund are leading the pack with four points in the group stages, followed by Barcelona, who occupy the second spot. Inter Milan and Slavia Praha are with point apiece.
