A fan creates one of the greatest compilations of all time featuring 'GOAT' Lionel Messi

A Barcelona fan has created one of the great compilations featuring Lionel Messi.

Lionel Messi is arguably the best ever player to have played the game of football. In recent years, the Argentine has been harshly treated because of the tons of weight he carries on his shoulders.

For every praise, there is criticism. But, his failure has been celebrated by many, which is majorly down to the number of accomplishments to date. Every best player receives criticism, irrespective of their success in the past. That is the same with Lionel Messi.

The Argentine, who made his debut in 2004, has produced non-stop world-class football over the last fifteen years, which is unequivocal by others in this field. His compatriot Cristiano Ronaldo has proclaimed him to be the best, although Messi’s feet shouted on the field and went on to win numerous accolades compared to his rival.

The 32-year-old isn’t short of a fanboy or two, and it’s no surprise, and one fan, MagicalMessi, has created the ultimate compilation on YouTube, 20 minutes of incredible skills and goals:

That video named ‘Lionel Messi – The GOAT – Official Movie’ includes his story upon his Barcelona debut. His stint under Pep Guardiola was highlighted because of the enormous success under the Spaniard. Under the current Manchester City manager, the Blaugrana managed to win seven trophies in a single campaign, a record which remains unsurpassed.

Messi has not won the Champions League or Copa America, despite not lifting those two many believe that he should be judged as the best player over the last year. Despite not winning either major trophy he would have been after this year the Barcelona number 10 still managed to bag a sixth European Golden Shoe award, for the top scorer in the continent, taking him two clear of Cristiano Ronaldo’s four, the second most wins.

The biggest letdown in a highlighted Lionel Messi’s career is the lack of trophies with his national team. He has managed to reach four final and one final in the Copa America and World Cup respectively, but he has failed to cross the line which mattered the most.

With Antoine Griezmann in the roster for the forthcoming season, can Barcelona put full-stop to five-year Champions League drought?
