Aakash Chopra slams fan post being called Virat Kohli's 'Chamcha'

Aakash Chopra slams fan: The former Indian opening batsman was in no mood to hear unnecessary things during the third IND vs AUS ODI.

During the third ODI of the recently concluded Australia’s tour of India in Bengaluru, India captain Virat Kohli grabbed a first-rate catch to dismiss Australia all-rounder Marnus Labuschagne and put a halt to a 127-run partnership between Steve Smith and Labuschagne.

It all happened on the third delivery of the 32nd over when Labuschagne’s attempt of playing an aerial drive off India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja saw him walking back to the pavilion.

Given the quality of the catch, appreciations were bound to come towards the Indian captain and rightly so. Former India opening batsman Aakash Chopra was among the many illustrious names who praised the Indian skipper’s effort on social media platform Twitter.

However, Chopra doing the same didn’t go down well with a fan who considered the former to be biased towards Kohli. The fan raised the point that Chopra hadn’t tweeted for India batsman Manish Pandey after he grabbed a one-handed screamer to dismiss Australia opening batsman David Warner in the second ODI in Rajkot.

It was at this point in time that Chopra didn’t shy away from replying to the fan in a fitting manner. “Get a life, dude. I was on commentary when Pandey ji took that catch and called it. And Praised it. I don’t tweet while commentating,” read Chopra’s tweet.
