Lance Storm details flaw in AEW Booking logic. The former WWE star pointed out that the storytelling wasn’t as perfect as is made out to be.
Fans in general like to indulge in hyperbole. That extends to fans of professional wrestling as well. Some examples are: Vince McMahon is the worst thing to happen in wrestling. WWE is killing the industry. AEW is as perfect as it gets. The promotion can do nothing wrong. Tony Khan will save wrestling in North America.

For what it’s worth, AEW has built amazing good will with its fans. That however, tends to lead the fans to overlook mistakes that the company makes. Former WWE Star Lance Storm however, likes to call a spade a spade and pointed out that the show has its own holes that sometimes get overlooked.
Lance Storm details flaw in AEW Booking logic
Storm appeared on F4WOnline’s radio show as a guest. He and Bryan Alvarez discussed WWE’s booking. Alvarez brought up Randy Orton vs The Fiend and went on about why he disliked the feud and why he felt like WWE insulted his intelligence.
Storm told Alvarez that he had an established dislike for WWE and went on to explain how AEW was also prone to making booking errors.
“I saw Britt Baker get beat to a bloody pulp, pile driven through a table, and soundly defeated in the main event of Dynamite. Then the next week I was treated like I was dumb enough to not realize that she lost the match, because they brought her out and celebrated and I never saw the winner again.”
“After that big loss she says that she’s going to become the #1 contender. I never see her wrestle on Dynamite again until she comes out and says that she’s the #1 contender.”
Lance Storm to Bryan: “You have an established dislike of one company already.”

It is understandable why fans are more forgiving towards AEW. However, in order for them to grow, they have to accept that they make mistakes and rectify it. Their fans now may overlook their flaws but newer fans in the future may not have the same tolerance.
