African Player Of The Year 2019: Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Pierre Emrick Aubameyang finalized in the 30 men nominated list.
Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Pierre Emrick Aubameyang dominated the league last season with their red hot forms and each of them amassed 22 goals by the end of the season, hence the golden boot was shared between all three of them.
Since then, all three have maintained their form in the league and have been included in the African player of the year 2019 30 men award nominees.
The list includes prominent players who contributed massively to their club and the country, but just like the last season, the main competition is deemed to be once again between Salah, Mane and Aubameyang.
Amidst them, even Riyad Mahrez has a loud shout for the award, as he won the league with Manchester City and won the African Cyp of nations with Algeria this year.
On the other side, Mane could have sealed the title if his country had not lost to Algeria in the final of the tournament. In this list, there is a surprising exclusion of Ismael Bennacer, the Algerian International, who was awarded as the best player of the tournament in the African cup of nations.

The 21-year-old midfielder has joined AC Milan this season after having an impressive term with Empoli in Serie A, although his team was relegated to Serie B after falling down from 17th position to 18th due to inferior goal difference against Genoa.
Meanwhile, Hakim Ziyech and Kalidou Koulibaly also have a say in this contest, considering their performances from the last season and current form.
