Arsenal have a mountain to climb as they are 3-1 down currently. They pulled one back through their attacker Alex Iwobi, who came as a substitute.
Chelsea had the lead to go through their attacker Olivier Giroud in the first half, but the French International produced a miraculous header to lead the game, three minutes into the second half. Emerson produced an exquisite cross which was neatly connected by Giroud, who diverted the ball inside the back of the net to hand over no chance to Petr Cech.
Pedro added the second in the 50th minute, and Olivier Giroud was the centre of attraction when won the penalty again. Ice-cool Eden Hazard slotted the ball inside the back of the net to extend the lead to three goals.
However, Alex Iwobi pulled one back through a thunderous volley in the 66th minute. The Nigerian International struck the ball with total conviction to cut short the lead to 3-1. It was a very difficult technique, but Iwobi struck the ball firmly to beat Kepa Arrizabalaga without any problem.
