Iceland were the least favoured team from this group but stand a great chance of making it to the knockout stages by avoiding defeat against Austria tonight.

Not many would have given Iceland a chance, but their resolute defence , with it’s amazing positional sense has ensured that they have earned two hard fought draws in their opening game.

Austria on the other hand were one of the favoured ‘dark horses’ of this tournament as they boasted of stars from different leagues of the world and also had had a terrific qualifying campaign.

But coming into the Euro, they have looked completely flat and none of their superstars have stepped up to deliver at crucial moments in the game. Alaba, Fuchs and Arnautovic will have to find that 5th gear, if Austria want to have any hope of making it to round of 16. They need to find that spark going forward, one that made them look as the most threatening side in the qualifiers.

Iceland would want to crowd the midfield and get as many bodies behind the ball as possible if they want to replicate their showing in the first two games.

Dragovic could return to the starting line up for Austria after having received a red card in the first game against Hungary.
