Megan Rapinoe fan make petition to get USA her on renowned football game cover

Megan Rapinoe fan makes petition online to get her on the cover of famous football game know as FIFA 20 with her goal celebration post.

Megan Rapinoe is a much celebrated personality in USA and in Women’s football. The 34-year-old played a crucial role in USA’s fourth World Cup triumph.

Rapinoe picked up the Golden Boot and the Golden Ball after scoring six goals in the apex tournament, giving her millions of new fans after her impact, both on and off the pitch.

To celebrate her legacy, one of Rapinoe’s fans has believes she should be the front cover star for FIFA 20. Ahead of the release in September, Change.org user Darren Holland has created the following petition.

“Fifa needs to change it’s policy on prize money but that’s just the start.” he said.

“More exposure of this team and women’s football will help change their minds. EA has already done more than FIFA in terms of support so this is a no-brainer which I know they must be contemplating.

“Much respect to IGN for the original post and image on social media.” he further said.

The fans online instantly followed with support to the petition, with many designing their own FIFA covers with Rapinoe’s famous goal celebration, which she did for the first time after scoring against France.

Rapinoe has been on headlines for her exploits on the field and mic, as she has been vocal about equal pay and LGBTQ rights and meanwhile being the oldest player to score in the Women’s World Cup final.

The 34-year-old has made such a deep impact in recent days, especially after criticizing US President Donald Trump publicly, and refused to visit White house in the honour of her principles.

The most famous football virtual game in the world has always featured prominent footballers from the men’s football. Now, with Women’s football on all time high, it seems that it is the right time to make a change.
