Alliance vs OG DPC 2021: Alliance defeat 2-time TI Champions OG in Upper Bracket of EU region

Alliance vs OG DPC 2021: Alliance defeat 2-time TI Champions OG in Upper Bracket of EU region. Week 2 of DPC 2021 Season 1 was full of exciting games. But, the most dramatic series was between OG & Alliance, with Alliance winning the game 2-0.

We are now at the end of Week 2 of the DPC 2021 Season 1, and the final points table are shaping up for each region. At the top of the EU upper bracket table are Team Secret, Team Nigma & Team Secret. OG is currently in 4th position & Alliance is 5th, but Alliance still has a series in hand. Last night Alliance & OG faced off, and Alliance pulled off a convincing 2-0 victory against the 2-time TI champions.

Both Alliance & OG are in contention for the fourth spot, and Alliance’s victory against OG is remarkable. This could add some much needed momentum & Alliance might just usurp the 4th position for themselves.

Alliance vs OG: Week 2 DPC 2021 Season 1

OG decided to mix it up with Game 1’s draft. Topson was playing a mid-lane Grimstroke & Notail was playing a hard support Pangolier. This experiment resulted in a lot of clowning, and Alliance  comfortably secured a victory in Game 1 in just around 27 minutes.

Game 2, however, was a spectacle. Alliance got a perfect start & S4, on the Timbersaw, created immense amount of space for Nikobaby on the Phantom Assassin to farm up his items. OG pulled the game back to dead even in 18 minutes, once Midone got Battlefury done on his Riki. However, he decided to purchase a Deadalus, and not a BKB after finishing his Aghanim’s Scepter.

Alliance managed to take down all 3 lanes of Barracks, resulting in OG having to defend against Mega-creeps, and OG were more than up for it. Midone purchased a Divine Rapier and it seemed that the game would prolong. However, a smart move by FNG on the Nature’s Prophet sealed the series for Alliance 2-0. Check out this clip on how the nail-biting game 2 between Alliance & OG ended. It ended 37-36 in Alliance’s favor.

This straight win against 2-time TI champs will surely be a morale booster for Alliance, who will play their next game against High Coast Esports on Feb 2nd. OG have a 10-day break, and they will play against Nigma on Feb 10th. You can catch the action live on Dream League’s Twitch channel.
