Amazon Partners with Crystal Dynamics To Publish The Next Entry for The Tomb Raider Franchise

Due to the Tomb Raider franchise’s success globally, Amazon Games partnered with Crystal Dynamics to make the next title.

Rarely a AAA game in the last decade has captivated an audience as closely as the Tomb Raider franchise. The three games have made waves and reignited a passion for Lara Croft. The best thing about the series was the Uncharted-style traversal and combat combined with an interesting and continuously developing Lara.

The games also supported the previous processors, so even people with a potato PC could play it. To take advantage of the wave of Lara Croft fans, Crystal Dynamics and Amazon have partnered together to publish the next Lara Croft Game. Let us break down the details.

Amazon Games and Crystal Dynamics partner to Produce the next Tomb Raider Game

This tweet above is everything you need to know about the deal between Amazon Games and Crystal Dynamics. Crystal Dynamics will produce the game, and Amazon will be responsible for publishing the game globally.

In addition, the game will be a single-player game with support on multiple platforms. Both of the studios are looking to hit this game everywhere globally, and Amazon’s influence in the global market will help drive this game’s sales.

In addition, Crystal Dynamics’s love for the Tomb Raider franchise shows in the games. The game will be made on Unreal Engine 5, which is said to be “the biggest, most expansive Tomb Raider game to date.”  We can safely expect some gameplay in the next Game Awards and a release in late 2024 or early 2025.
