Amit Mishra run-out Memes: Twitter was full of hilarious memes on Capitals veteran leg-spinner obstructing the field vs SRH.

During the Eliminator of the ongoing 12th season of the Indian Premier League between Delhi Capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad at Visakhapatnam, veteran Delhi Capitals leg-spinner Amit Mishra was seen obstructing the field to get out in the last over of the match.

It all happened on the fourth delivery of the last over when Mishra missed a Khaleel Ahmed delivery. In a bid to steal a single, Mishra and non-striker Keemo Paul tried running a bye. Mishra, who was struggling to complete the run, ended up changing sides and running in front of the wickets.

With the updated rule declaring the batsman out in such a case, Mishra walked back to the pavilion but not before plentiful confusion in the middle. Mishra ended up scoring 1 (2).

It was eventually Paul who scored a four off Ahmed on the following delivery to seal the chase for Capitals. Having won the Eliminator, DC will now face defending champions Chennai Super Kings on Friday in a bid to earn their spot in the finals against Mumbai Indians.

Chasing a 163-run target, DC wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant rescued his team from a definite spot of bother. The southpaw scored 49 (21) with the help of two fours and five sixes to lay down a platform for the others. Pant was also declared the ‘Man of the Match‘ for his stellar knock.
