Anthony Davis to Lakers: Reports suggest the move could happen in 2021
Anthony Davis is set to become a free agent in 2021 and will have a massive decision to make with respect to his NBA future.
Davis currently plies his trade with the Pelicans and while he could extend his contract there as well, a lot of NBA franchises are lining up to secure the services of the big man.
According to multiple reports, Anthony Davis is considering a move to LA Lakers in 2021 in a bid to join forces with LeBron James.
New York Knicks, Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers are also on his radar, but a move to Lakers is the most tempting, considering the history of the franchise and the prospect of teaming up with LeBron James.
There is a slight problem though about the move to Lakers, as in 2021, LeBron would be 37 and wouldn’t have too much time left in the NBA.
From a pure NBA entertainment standpoint, would you rather see Anthony Davis traded to the Lakers or the Celtics?https://t.co/bnHRqkpeKF

Davis would only be 28 at that moment and will have a lot of time on his hand. He would have to sort out what his motivation to move to Lakers would be.
If he is looking for a couple of years with LeBron and then transitioning into the leader of Lakers, he should try and force the move.

Anthony Davis is rumored to be eyeing a future with the Lakers, Pelicans, Sixers, or Knicks if Pelicans don’t work out.

Else, reports state that Boston Celtics could be a good second option for Davis.
Kyrie Irving, Gordon Hayward and Jayson Tatum form a good core for Boston Celtics. Add Anthony Davis to that and you have a championship ready team.
Kyrie has reportedly already spoken to Anthony Davis about joining the Celtics.
One note from my story last night: I’ve been told Kyrie Irving has spoken to Anthony Davis about a potential pairing in Boston. https://t.co/OeJDrYOxY3
