Anthony Davis trade rumors

Anthony Davis trade rumors: The speculations surrounding the Pelicans’ star trade rumors took another turn on Wednesday.

It was earlier thought that the Anthony Davis trade saga had come to an end after Lakers pulled out of the move for the player.

However, it has taken yet another turn earlier today when Phoenix Suns entered the equation with their interest in one of the Lakers’ players originally included in the offer for Davis, Lonzo Ball.

LA Times reported last night that Lakers have pulled out of the conversations for Anthony Davis due to “outrageous” demands made by Pelicans. ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski further stated that while Lakers will not make a new offer, they will wait for Pelicans’ next step on the move.

Today, Broderick Turner and Tania Ganguli reported yet another twist in the saga, which concerned Phoneix Sun’s interest in Lonzo Ball.

Anthony Davis trade rumors:

Phoenix Suns are reportedly interested in LA Lakers’ Lonzo Ball and have communicated their willingness to facilitate a trade move for Anthony Davis.

The team is interested in adding Ball as their starting point guard and the speculations surrounding the move have further fuelled by the players’ father, LaVar Ball.

Ball Sr. made two appearances within a space of three hours on 98.7 FM to state that Lonzo Ball is a “better fit” for Phoenix.

“He’s a better fit in Phoenix because they got some young athletes, they’ve been losing, they need a winning attitude,” LaVar Ball said.

“The Lakers gave my boy that losing attitude,” he added.

He further insisted that his son wouldn’t get enough opportunities if he goes to Pelicans.

“Even if my son goes to New Orleans, you can’t make him play. Phoenix, they might have a chance to get all three of my boys and win these championships and understand what winning is about.

“But I need all three of my boys on the court ’cause that’s 60 percent of the team that’s in to winning and not worried about how much money they’re going to make.”

The question is what the Phoenix will be offering for Lonzo Ball to facilitate a trade move for Anthony Davis.
