Anthony Martial goal vs Fulham: The Frenchman doubled the lead for Manchester United in the first half.
Manchester United were strong in the first half against Fulham, as Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial scored in quick successions to give the side a lead.
Paul Pogba scored a brilliant goal from an almost impossible angle, while Anthony Martial scored an excellent solo goal to double the lead for Solskjaer’s men.
Fulham started the game strongly and Andre Schurrle led some excellent counter attacks in the initial few minutes of the game. Claudio Ranieri’s men came close to scoring on two occasions but missed with poor finishing.
However, Pogba scored an incredible goal from a difficult angle to give United the lead.
Martial soon doubled the lead as he beat Fulham’s Maxime Le Marchand for United’s second goal.

Here’s how Twitter reacted to the forward’s goal:
Just a reminder -Jose Mourinho wanted to sell Anthony Martial

A periodical reminder that Jose Mourinho spent the summer trying to sell Anthony Martial and Paul Pogba, get a new contract for Marouane Fellaini and buy Harry Maguire.

Anthony Martial absolutely ruins compatriot Maxime Le Marchand to score an exceptional goal from the halfway line vs. Fulham this afternoon. At his most confident, the ex-Monaco man is a world beater.

What a ridiculous, world-class goal that is from Anthony Martial. My word. Glorious.

Two absolutely brilliant goals. Pogba dominant & Martial is unplayable when he’s like that; pace, control, awareness, strength, composure…those two are just on another level to anyone else on the pitch. Wonderful.

A touch of Ronaldo at Fulham 2007 there from Martial. Scintillating stuff. #mufc

The difference between last week and this week is Martial’s inclusion frees up Pogba!! Their chemistry is more important than having Sanchez in the team!! That’s why we are 2 goals up in HT!! #FULMUN #MUFC #GGMU

remember how the United manager was feuding with and benching either of Pogba or Martial pretty much nonstop for two years

Its as if these lads watch Ronaldo compilations before the game#FULMUN— That Mech Kid ! (@r3al___AJ) February 9, 2019
In an alternative universe, José Mourinho’s decision to sell Paul Pogba to Beijing Guoan is further questioned when a mix-up between centre back pairing Anthony Martial and Scott McTominay gifts Fulham a 1-0 win.

The previous manager wanted Pogba & Martial gone. Lots of fans too. Weird.

Martial,We all know what quality Paul possesses,Paul is Paul. Now he has got this freedom to play with,I think we are beginning to see the real Paul Pogba play & let’s hope it continues. He‘s a leader,he talks more in the dressing room than he does on the field to be fair #mufc pic.twitter.com/NEvMv97yZQ
