Antoine Griezmann’s transfer saga is set to continue this summer as he enters transfer market, alerting Man Utd and Bayern.

Antoine Griezmann made headlines in the summer last year as his transfer stories dominated the football market for quite some time.

In the end, he released a documentary to announce his decision for the future.

The French forward, who won the World Cup last year decided to remain with Atletico Madrid and the Spanish club obliged with new contracts for Lucas Hernandez and the signing of Thomas Lemar.

However, all is not well at the Spanish capital in the recent past.

Antoine Griezmann enters transfer market:

According to Spanish media outlet Sport, the French forward has entered the transfer market.

Atletico Madrid faced a double blow over the last week in Europe and the La Liga.

The side was knocked out of the Champions League in the round-of-16 by Juventus as Cristiano Ronaldo scored a stunning hattrick.

Atletico Madrid faced another setback in the league as they faced a 2-0 defeat against Athletic Bilbao. The side is now 10 points behind league leaders Barcelona, and will face them at Camp Nou on April 6.

There have been reports of Diego Godin and Lucas planning to leave the side after consecutive setbacks at the club.

According to Sport, Manchester United and Bayern Munich are the frontrunners for the signing of Antoine Griezmann, with the former being the favourite to secure his transfer.

Griezmann’s relationship with United’s midfielder and French teammate Paul Pogba is also seen as a driving factor behind the speculations.

Barcelona and Real Madrid are yet to make a move for the French forward. The Catalan giants are unlikely to go for Griezmann again after he rejected Barca last summer.
