Barcelona have reportedly offered right back Nelson Semedo plus cash to launch the Antoine Griezmann transfer deal. Sport have reported that Barcelona were not keen on letting Semedo go but Atletico managed to convince them. With Diego Simeone on the look for a quality right back to replace the outgoing Juanfran, the deal could be finalised sooner than later.

If the deal goes through, then Barcelona will save itself a lot of money. Money that could be spent on a certain Brazilian that they’re willing to bring back. However, Neymar’s huge release clause, means that Barcelona will have to let go of more stars to ensure their prodigal son’s return. Barcelona are reportedly looking to offload Ousmane Dembele and Philippe Coutinho to gather the required funds. Ironically, they were both brought in as replacements for the then outgoing Neymar.

However, Paris Saint Germain may prove to be a tougher negotiator than Atletico Madrid. Barcelona will have to eclipse Neymar’s own world record transfer fee to catch the French champions interest.
