It is an open secret that the mood around Arsenal is at an all time low after their disappointing results. However, for the young mascot, it was probably one of the best days of his life, knowing he would witness some of the biggest football stars in the flesh. The Arsenal players however, were in no mood to acknowledge the child and just walked past him.

The now deleted twitter video soon went viral and many were quick to criticize the players and expressed horror at the disgrace that was on display.

Arsenal respond

However, Arsenal player Callum Chambers was quick to respond to the footage and claimed that the players had indeed met with the child before the game.

Callum Chambers’ captain at Arsenal, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang also added to the respond by saying that he intended to issue a response as well but Chambers was quicker.

Arsenal will face Brighton on Thursday night. Should the Gunners fail to win that match, they will have officially passed two months since their last victory in the Premier league. With Europe slipping from them with every passing game, Arsenal will hope to arrest the slide before it is too late.
