Mesut Ozil nutmegs Torreira: The Uruguayan midfielder was latest addition to the growing list of Ozil’s nutmeg victims.
Arsenal will face Bournemouth as they return to the Premier League this weekend. Unai Emery’s side is currently 5th in the league table, and are on a 16-game unbeaten run across all competitions.
However, their recent run in the Premier League has been frustrating for the fans. The side was held to a draw in their last three matches, which pushed Arsenal behind their North London rivals, Tottenham.
Arsenal are currently 3 points behind Pochettino’s side and will aim to return to winning ways as they take on Eddie Howe’s side this weekend.
Meanwhile, Arsenal released a video of a training session ahead of the game against Bournemouth where players were participating in a rondo.
Mesut Ozil nutmegs Torreira:
The Arsenal midfielder has a long list of his nutmeg victims. The latest to fall to Ozil’s nutmeg was Uruguayan midfielder Lucas Torreira, as the players took part in a Rondo.
A few weeks ago, Ozil target another of Arsenal’s new signing, Matteo Guendouzi.
As he put the ball through Torreira’s leg, he turned around to celebrate, while Torreira looked crestfallen. Many Arsenal players celebrated Ozil’s nutmeg, but were quick to mockingly console Torreira after the nutmeg.
Hector Bellerin went to the extent of turning to Ozil and making a gesture, as if to ask, “Why did you do that to him?”
