Arsenal are set to recall six players including Mesut Ozil from the injury woes.

Unai Emery’s side has struggled for fitness from the first month. It is no brainer that players have a knock then and there because the Spaniard demands high pressing game.

However, he has received a huge boost as six players have returned from injury layoffs as they enter into the crucial point of the season.

The German Mesut Ozil is said to be back from injury after missing out more than two weeks of action due to the knee injury. He was forced to watch the games against Liverpool, Fulham, and Blackpool from the sidelines. His recall will come a huge plus for the Gunners who are short of attacking options at the moment.

Right-back Hector Bellerin is another crucial player to Unai Emery’s plans. The Spaniard pulled his hamstring when he was in action against Southampton more than twenty days ago. But, he has trained with the first team and is expected to be fit for the game against West Ham United.

Shkodran Mustafi was out with a minor muscle injury against Blackpool in their 2-0 win in the FA Cup, But he is said to be reinstalled in the starting eleven on Saturday in the London Derby.

Nacho Monreal, who was out for nearly two months is back fit again. The Spanish full-back extended his one-year contract which will keep him at the club until 2020. With Kolasinac in the same position, he is expected to warm the bench.

Laurent Koscielny has a ridiculous injury record over the past six years. He has not been at his best since last season, but he is fit following the fight against the back injury which has kept him out for two games. It will be interesting to see if Koscielny or Mustafi will be stored back with Sokratis in the centre-back department.

Dinos Mavropanos could hand the much-needed foster for Unai Emery as he seeks for defensive reinforcements in the January transfer window. If he fails to secure any deal, he must look at the Greekish International. The 21-year-old has been out of action since January 2019 due to a groin injury which has kept him out for more than ten months. He is back in full training as well.

However, Henrikh Mkhitaryan is expected to star from February, and Danny Welbeck and Rob Holding will miss the remainder of the season due to the injuries.

In the hopes of restoring the Gunners into the top four, Unai Emery is looking into Yannick Carrasco who is currently spending his time at China. The fee is expected to be around 25 million Euros and the winger is ready to take a pay cut to join the English outfit.

In the weekend Premier League action, it will see Arsenal take on West Ham in the Olympic Stadium on Saturday.
