Arsenal Transfer News: Gunners in talk with versatile PSG defender over a January move. They have offered a five-year deal.
Arsenal made a horde of purchases in the summer with Nicolas Pepe being the most notable of them. Another high-profile transfer was that of former Celtic left back Kieran Tierney for £25million. However, the 22-year old has spent most of his time at North London out with injury and with the uncertainty regarding his return, the club are looking for a reliable left back.

According to reports from France, Arsenal are already in pursuit and have made contact with PSG defender Layvin Kurzawa over a free transfer in the summer. Kurzawa’s contract with PSG will end this summer. The fullback is, therefore, free to make contact with clubs over a summer move.
Arsenal want Layvin Kurzawa in January
However, according to RMC Sport via Get Football news France, the Gunners could even decide to complete the move in the January transfer window itself. The report claims that, with the green light from manager Mikel Arteta, the London club have already prepared a 5-year deal with Kurzawa’s representatives.
According to The Sun, West Ham are also interested in Kurzawa. Although, Arsenal are likely to beat them to his signatures, in the event that both clubs offer him a deal. However, the Gunners can avoid the competition altogether by swooping him in January itself.
Kurzawa has made 83 Ligue 1 appearances for PSG since joining in 2015. The French International is quite versatile. He can play on the left side of the midfield and the left wing as well apart from his usual position at left back.
He will certainly add to Mikel Arteta’s squad at Arsenal and prove to be a valuable asset to the club. Will PSG let him go in January though is a whole other matter though.
