Unai Emery credits Dani Ceballos as a ‘very good player’ ahead of the apparent loan move. The Spaniard is close to agreeing a temporary deal with the Gunners for the upcoming season.

Before the Real Madrid clash in Washington DC, Unai Emery said: “We are speaking about the possibility to sign one player,”
“We have different names and the club is working on that.
“Ceballos is a very good player. I know him from [Real] Betis at the beginning and Real Madrid.
“He played very well in the U21s, his national team won the competition. He can play as a number eight or a number 10.”
The departure of Aaron Ramsey has left a huge loophole for Unai Emery, who is close to landing Dani Ceballos. The Spaniard has preferred the Gunners because of the available game time and brush his personal development.
Dani Ceballos, who made 56 appearances for Real Madrid in two years, will be Arsenal’s summer signing after the acquisition of Brazilian Gabriel Martinelli, should the deal go through. After Arsenal’s arrival in the United Kingdom, William Saliba will travel to London to complete the medical and will officially be unveiled.
