Atletico Madrid Vs Juventus Head to Head Record and Stats: ATM vs Juve h2h | UCL

As Atletico Madrid takes on Juventus in the Champions League, we shall look at the head-to-head statistics.

Group D comprises of Atletico Madrid, Juventus, Lokomotiv Moscow, and Bayer Leverkusen. The Spanish and Italian side look head and shoulders above the other two, but those clubs have the capability to disrupt their opposition on their day.

Atletico Madrid will take on Juventus in Wanda Metropolitano in the opening game week of the new Champions League edition. Juventus have already won it once, but they have been craving for this prestigious trophy over the last two decades. Atletico Madrid, on the other hand, are yet to possess Champions League in their trophy cabinet.

Juventus have made some serious business and have kept the current lot to take their side to another level. Diego Simeone was forced to make a handful of changes after the likes of Antoine Griezmann, Felipe Luis, and Diego Godin decided to head into the exit door. Their incomings have picked up their game from day one.

Los Rojiblancos carried a two-goal lead to the second leg of the Champions League Round of 16. But, it was wiped away by Cristiano Ronaldo in the second leg to enter into the Quarterfinals of the tournament. It was an exciting game and it could prove the same.

We shall look at the head-to-head statistics between Atletico Madrid and Juventus.

Recent Form

Atletico Madrid have been successful in their opening three games by winning them all. Their defence was breached only by Eibar, who scored two in the first half, only to concede three in the second half. They have kept two clean sheets in the process.

On the other side, Juventus also boast a similar record to their opponents. They have won two games out of two, but their defence has not looked perfect. They conceded three goals against Napoli, meaning that good opposition could cause a lot of trouble to that defence – which does not own their Skipper Giorgio Chiellini, who is currently on the treatment table.
