Who voted from India and to whom?
Dhiman Sarkar, the Sports Editor from the Hindustan Times was selected by the France football magazine to vote from India. Sarkar gave his votes to Lionel Messi, Virgil Van Dijk, Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Cristiano Ronaldo (preferential ranking in the order of sequence).
The selection of players can be justified by reasoning and looks fair considering the level of performances by the players selected by him and can be called way better than the decision made by the other journalists.
Absurd rankings?

There were few voters whose votes are specifically called out for the level of absurdity over there selection of players. the representative from Sri Lanka was massively questioned choosing Trent Alexander Arnold as the best player of the season.
Meanwhile, Bhutan chose to go with all-Liverpool top-5 ranking and decided left Messi and Ronaldo out of the contest.
