Barcelona have been long linked with PSG’s Adrien Rabiot, and fresh reports from Spain indicate that the club has agreed terms.

Adrien Rabiot has been one of the revelations for PSG this season, under their former manager Unai Emery. Naturally, the midfielder had been garnering interests from European clubs, with Barcelona leading the race.

Today, fresh reports from Spain have emerged which indicate that the Catalan giants have agreed personal terms with Rabiot for his transfer.

Mundo Deportivo reported last week that Barcelona’s technical secretary Eric Abidal and general manager Pep Segura visited Rabiot in France to discuss a potential transfer. The Spanish outlet even published a picture of the Barca duo at Paris airport, signifying a move for Rabiot.

Diario Sport now reports that Barcelona have succeeded in agreeing terms with the French midfielder, and a deal worth around €40m has been agreed for his transfer.

Rabiot’s contract with PSG expires next summer which pushed Barcelona to make move for the French star.

Earlier, Barcelona completed the signing of Arthur Melo from Gremio, and Sevilla’s Clement Lenget. They are also linked with a move for N’Golo Kante and Eden Hazard. The Catalan club has also put its seven players on the transfer list for the summer.

The list of players include high profile names like Andre Gomes, who has been long linked with a move to Arsenal, Rafinha, and Munir, among others.

Rabiot was not the part of the World Cup campaign with France this summer, however, his performances with PSG impressed the Parisian club. The PSG owner, Nasser Al Khelaifi reportedly wanted to tie him down to a new contract with the club, but now it looks highly unlikely.
