Barcelona News: Carles Perez claims Barcelona has no patience with La Masia

Barcelona News: Carles Perez complains that Barcelona abruptly finalized his transfer and the club doesn’t have patience with youth players.

Barcelona’s academy graduate Carles Perez, who made his debut for the first team this season has criticized the board for the lack of patience towards the youth players.

When asked about him being promoted in the first team, then receiving a new contract and suddenly being transferred to Roma, Perez spoke to the Mundo Deportivo on the frequent changes in his career, in the last few months.

“It’s hard to explain why I don’t even know what happened. They have not given me the explanations they had to give me, at least the realistic ones. The coach told me that he was not going to count on me because he had more people upstairs,” said Perez.

“Although they tell me 10 days before the market closes when the new coach had been a while. But Barcelona is my past now, my present is in Rome and I want to be an important player for them,”

“Sometimes right decisions are made and sometimes not. And now they have to look for life. I think about what Cucurella said. In Barcelona, you always want to win, but you no longer have patience with the youth players. But I also don’t want to get into this topic much,”

“In the end, I am grateful to Barcelona for everything it has given me. Everything I know I have learned there and thanks to them I have been able to reach a great club like Rome. I think they haven’t behaved in the end, but I’m grateful.”

“More than anything by the ways. I am a boy who has given everything for Barça since childhood. My dream was to reach the first team, I got it and now it was taken without reason. And more with the performances, I was doing,”

“They talk a lot about the quarry and in the end, they prove the opposite. Anyway, I don’t have a bad image of Barça, I’m grateful, but I didn’t like the shapes. Nothing else.”

With Luis Suarez injured for the majority of the rest of the season, Barcelona was liking the attacking options in the club, absence of Perez under these circumstances totally hurt them, and in the end, they had to go for Martin Braithwaite among the limited options.
